Magical stories from faraway lands entertained families and children at Glusburn Institute last weekend.

Families were treated to a lively afternoon as Satellite Arts actors opened up their market stall of stories.

Tale Traders used puppets, music, conjuring and songs to get everyone involved.

"The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all," said Glusburn Institute events organiser Paula Butler.

"The children took part as lead characters in tales about animals, jungles, journeys and common sense.

"This was a highly professional show and an excellent prequel to the institute's pantomime season."

Cinderella will be performed from February 8. The institute can be contacted on 01535 630223.
