From an early age Bradford lad Ben Schofield fostered a keen sense of humour as a defence mechanism.
The experience stood him in good stead for in 2001 he first took to the stage in the city.
Since then he's pleased audiences and critics across the North of England -- and tonight he headlines in Keighley.
He's joined by Dan Bland and Rodney Marques at Funny Buggers in the New Variety Club, Russell Street.
Jongleurs Award finalist Ben is said to give a dynamic, colourful and loud performance full of rock 'n' roll spirit.
Droll Dan will bare his magnetically mournful soul with elegantly-written twisted musings and electrifying wit.
Rodney, winner of several comedy awards, is a jovial performer who's both deliciously cruel and brilliantly self-deprecating.
Start 8.30pm, admission £5.
