A band is seeking to drum up new members.

The City of Bradford Pipe Band - which recruits from the Keighley area - is keen to hear from anyone interested in joining its ranks.

Currently the pipes and drums outfit has around 18 playing members.

Secretary Brian Slack said: "Membership has gradually dwindled as people have retired and we have not had the numbers coming in.

"We will teach people from scratch - we provide all the tuition and uniforms etc. We also teach Highland dancing."

The band welcomes anyone aged ten and over and would-be dancers aged eight upwards.
