Operator Six will soon record new songs and Paul Weller's Black Band Studio with a view to using one as a single.
The Keighley rock band's session will be produced by Steve Cradock, guitarist with Ocean Colour Scene.
The band, currently polishing potential tracks, has moved its planned New Variety Club gig from February 8 to April 4.
The Sixers also play the 100 Club on Oxford Street, London, on February 27 with fellow local band Laika Dog.
