Alice in Wonderland has been adapted into a pantomime by Harden Players.

And the amateur actors promised the show will be played strictly for laughs in traditional pantomime style.

The show, presented on February 7-9 & 14-16, is loosely based on the original Lewis Carroll book.

Alice has been written by members Helen Keighley and Bernard Stern and is produced by Astrid Rosedale and Debbie Sellick.

"Harden Players have long experience of producing high-quality shows which appeal to all age groups," said the group.

Alice is in Harden Congregational Church at 7.30pm, with two Saturday matinees at 2pm.

Tickets cost £5 from Harden Post Office.
