Gothic suspense and poetry is promised as Wuthering Heights comes to East Riddlesden Hall.

Heartbreak Productions return to the historic manor house to perform Emily Brontë's famous story.

The theatre company will use live music and audience interaction during their "impassioned and fervent" portrayal.

The play, with a cast of five, is at the National Trust property on February 2 at 7.30pm.

Heartbreak said its wild tale of ill-fated love and vengeance ensured entertainment for all.

The promised to evoke the bleak, windswept landscape of the Yorkshire moors and heighten the emotional extremes of each characters' tortured journey.
