Big-boned and fond of Guinness - that's comedy-singer Captain Hotknives's description of himself.
He says descriptions ranging from "surreal comic genius" to "bear-like stoner with a guitar" would also be true.
He says his set is filled with observational humour intermingled with drug-fuelled trips across subjects as diverse as God, maths exams, Jimi Hendrix and pigeons.
The Captain will compere the Funny Buggers comedy night tonight at Keighley's New Variety Club.
Expect warmth and wit, charisma and conviction, and songs like I Skanked Me Nana, Shabby Muffin and The Pigeons Told me to Shoplift.
The line-up includes Mel Moon, Dave Dynamite and Chris Roche. Doors 8pm, admission £5.
