Success is guaranteed for a musician playing Keighley's New Variety Club this Thursday.

At least it is according to the publicity blurb for US singer and guitarist Daniel Orlick.

Daniel and his band the Diplomats released the single Six Shooter last October.

Last month they headlined a pilot music programme for ARTboo TV on Sky.

Then last week they sold out their first gig as a band, at the Dry Bar in Manchester.

Playing alone, Daniel this Thursday supports Tom Hingley of the In spiral Carpets in Keighley.

The acoustic gig at the Russell Street club also features former Keighley man Gary Kaye, better known as Hollow Horse.

Daniel back with the Diplomats the following evening for a gig at the Cardigan Arms in Leeds, then Manchester Academy on March 15.

V Man, promoters for the Kooks and Arctic Monkeys, have earmarked the Diplomats for major support slots over the next six months.
