Keighley heavy rock band Headstone is back on the scene with a new line-up and new songs.
With four members for the first time the band has created a new Stoner-metal groove sound.
Headstone began in 2006 as Godhead with former Gridlock singer Nige Mason and Skullcrusher thrasher Aldo Della Rose.
With former Mannix guitarist Mick Walsh they worked on a mix of original Stoner rock and covers songs.
After debuting with cover songs for the annual Sewer Rats biker rally, they had to change their name due to another band called Godhead.
Gigging and songwriting continued until March last year when Aldo returned to his thrash roots to play guitar with Let Em Burn.
He was replaced employed by Brand New Analogues drummer Gaz Marshall, but one gig later the band split up.
Now Nige is on guitar with Brand New Analogues musician Josh Tildesley on bass, ex-Bloodstream member Steve Ward on drums and Northern Metal girl Emma C on guitar.
Headstone plays the Head, Bradford, on May 3 and the Great Northern Trendkill at the The Bee Hive, Bradford, on May 9.
