New artwork by Bob Littleford and inspired by the Brontes is on display in Haworth.
Resurgam, at the Bronte Parsonage Museum, features work based on Bob's responses to Bronte poems.
The former dustman and door handle riveter became a full-time artist at the 1970s.
He began producing paintings inspired by the Brontes after hearing Bernard Herrmann's opera adaptation of Wuthering Heights.
The self-taught Oldham artist followed his first solo exhibition at Salford City Art Gallery with solo and group exhibitions.
Bob has exhibited at the Royal Academy, was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 1986, and is a member of the British Watercolour Society.
The exhibition, running until April 19, is free on admission to the museum. Open 11am-5pm, phone 01535 642323.
