Keighley teenager Amy Harper will give thrill seekers a musical break from white knuckle rides.

She will spend the summer singing with a show group at the Drayton Manor theme park.

Amy, from Rose Meadows, Fell Lane, has been booked by leading entertainment agency Hammond.

She will perform three 35-minute shows each day at the Midlands park as part of the Catz group.

The booking is 17-year-old Amy's first full-time professional engagement after years of training.

She attended Bradford theatre school Stage 84 and in 2002 performed at the London Palladium.

She performed in pantomime at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, which was also organised by Hammond.

Amy left Holy Family school when she was 13 so she could be home-school while by devoting more time to the performing arts.

Amy originally auditioned as a dancer for Drayton Manor but was promoted to the singing group.
