Leicester band the Midbeats come north to play support at the Angel Chain Diaries' comeback gig on March 21.

The Midbeats play poppy indie rock and aim to "sing to the clapping faces" of Keighley at the New Variety Club.

The band began three years ago when three musicians spent a "lost week" recording a remote Welsh cottage.

An EP turned into an album, musicians came and went, and the remaining Mids say they sang their hearts out.

Support also comes from young Bradford band Minus Jack with their indie, pop punk and power pop.

Psychedelic and indie band Angel Chain Diaries, originally an instruments outfit, have been quiet of late but are returning with guitarist Ryan Madden on vocals.

Admission to the 7.30pm show costs £5.
