EGGS-TRAORDINARY things are happening at East Riddlesden Hall this Easter.
Cadbury is teaming up with the National Trust to stage Easter egg trails at trust properties across the region. The trails at 17th century East Riddlesden Hall are from Good Friday to Easter Monday, from noon-4pm.
Cadbury is giving an Easter egg to each child completing the trail, which costs £2 to enter. There will also be other fun activities.
The company's support of the venture is part of its "Purple goes Green" initiative, to reduce impact on the environment. The "Egghead" Easter egg trail prizes are unboxed so use 70 per cent less cardboard packaging than the traditional equivalent-sized egg.
Also, Cadbury is giving £150,000 to a National Trust trees and woodland conservation programme.
