Old Keighley rockers never die, they just celebrate their birthday with other old rockers!

Eighties band member Jonjo McColgan is playing a gig this Saturday to celebrate his 40th.

He's inviting fellow musicians to join in a jam session following the concert at the Cricketers Arms.

He hopes to attract musicians who played with him in Ethel and the Heroes and the Cheese Factory during the 80s and 90s.

Jonjo will kick off the night with a performance by his new band Citusk featuring young local musicians.

The other members are Luke Parker from Wet Paint and Fifteen Stories, Luke Willoughby from Blacklist, and Kurt Wood from Breene and Sounds of Swami.

Jonjo said: "Our aim was basic, write the loudest tunes possible with three instruments and get someone to wail over the top."

Citusk started late last year.
