Keighley music fans have a treat in store next Friday when Two Old Gits Play the Blues.

The oldsters in question, drawing on more than 10 decades of the blues, are King Rollo and Dr A.

The pair have themselves been performing for four of those decades, and headline Keighley Blues Club.

Their repertoire draws from top bluesmen including Robert Johnson, Chuck Berry, Pinetop Perkins and BB King.

"Considerably more fun than Wagner" is the boast of acoustic guitarist Rollo and blues pianist A.

Replacing Chris Dunn as support artist is Stratford-on-Avon songwriter songwriter-musician David Bristow His style is said to recall Lonnie Johnson in a touring American Blues Festival Show of the early 1960s.
