An unruly mix of humour, politics, love and social comment is promised by singer-songwriter Pete Morton.

The Nottingham singer-songwriter will next month bring his "wealth of great songs" to Keighley's Baccapipes Folk Club.

Pete started out as a busker on the streets of Europe and has sung from the heart across the entire globe.

He is said to deliver songs that tells compelling stories and speak of the human condition from a unique perspective.

A spokesman said: "With a passionate, strong voice and strident guitar style, traditional songs rub shoulders with Pete's current writing."

Pete will be dynamic, intense, approachable and fun loving on April 4, in Keighley Ukrainian Club, 9 Henry Street, off Cavendish Street. Phone 01535 605310.
