Daphne du Maurier's obsession with Branwell Bronte is the subject of a new novel.
The writer, Justine Picardie, will visit Haworth this month (April) to talk about her book.
Daphne, which blurs fact and fiction, is based on a series of letters found in the archives of the Bronte Parsonage Museum.
Justine will discuss the Brontes and du Maurier, who wrote suspense classic Rebecca.
She will read from her novel, and chat with du Maurier's eldest daughter Lady Tessa Montgomery.
The audience will have champagne and canapés, and view a rarely-seen Branwell Bronte manuscript once owned by du Maurier.
Justine, former features editor of British Vogue magazine, is the author of If the Spirit Moves You and Wish I May.
Tickets for the April 18 (7.30pm) event cost £10 from 01535 640188 or jenna.holmes@bronte.org.uk.
