There'll be dancing in the aisles at Harrogate Theatre when the Jive Aces hit the stage.
Regarded as one of the UK's top jive and swing bands, the Jive Aces formed in 1989 and have performed throughout the UK, Europe and America.
They are renowned for their highenergy jump-jive music and, with a repertoire stretching from the swing era to the glamour of the Rat Pack, with a dash of R'n'B thrown in, this toe-tapping spectacular combines fresh arrangements of classics made famous by the likes of Bobby Darin, Louis Prima and Sammy Davis Jr along with a selection of swinging originals from the band's studio albums.
The in-demand six-piece have worked with Van Morrison, John Travolta and Isaac Hayes, as well as performing for the Duke of Edinburgh and Tom Cruise. They have performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
