Folk band Dochas will be at the Victoria Hall in Saltaire tomorrow.
The band's distinctive sound has been described as a "tapestry of some of the finest Gaelic, Highland and Scottish music, all blended effortlessly into one exciting musical experience."
Influenced strongly by the band members' backgrounds, Dòchas (the Scottish Gaelic word for 'hope') perform music from the Outer Hebrides, Shetland and the Highlands, as well as drawing on their links to Ireland, particularly Donegal.
The band have built up a reputation on the folk scene for a delivery of honest and pure interpretations of Gaelic songs with creative and sympathetic piano accompaniment and "barn-stomping" tunes driven by the pipes, fiddle and bodhrán.
Dochas will be at the Victoria Hall, Saltaire, on Thursday, April 3.
