The accent is on youth as the Airedale Male Voice Choir prepares for its annual charity concert.

The Keighley group will be joined by Keighley Amateurs Junior Singing Club for the May 18 concert.

Airedale musical director John Smith describes the 28 youngsters as exuberant, bright and dynamic.

He said the other guest, young Wilsden singer Julia Williams, was highly talented and very musical.

He said: "This promises to be a wonderful night's entertainment."

The concert begins at 7pm in St Andrews Methodist Church, Newmarket Street, Skipton.

Tickets are available from choir members or by phoning Mr Smith on 01535 653310.

The Airedale singers also perform at Wesley Place Church, Ingrow, on April 19 to raise money for Relate.
