ON reading the, very informative, Down Memory Lane article in the Keighley News about the Oakworth/Lancashire border we thought readers may be interested that on Saturday, September 10, members and friends of Oakworth parish churches had a fabulous day walking the beautiful 16-mile Oakworth parish boundary – of which the Wolf Stones marked the halfway point on our circular route.
Alongside our journey, we were raising funds for the Refugee Council in order to support those who are forced to make journeys away from their homes and families. If you wish to support this cause, please visit justgiving.com/fundraising/oakworthparishboundarywalk.
Thank you.
Karen Lobley, Oakworth parish churches
