The Bradford museum has it all wrapped up its latest adventure-documentary on the IMAX cinema screen.
This five-storey-high film packs a surprising amount of history, science and spectacle into its enthralling 40 minutes.
As Christopher Lee narrates, we are taken on a tour of Egyptian ruins that look fantastic in three dimensions.
We see no-expenses-spared reconstructions depicting the ancient Egyptians, the tomb raiders who stole from them, and the archaeologists who sought them.
And we meet 21st-century scientists who hope that DNA from the mummies of malaria-stricken pharaohs will help find a modern-day cure for the disease.
Most fascinating is the hunt for the final resting place of the pharaohs, not as exciting as Tomb Raider but dramatic nevertheless.
This film is ideal for all but the youngest children, although some viewers will squirm to see mummified corpses that they can almost touch.
