Let's hear it for the boys as Cullingworth theatre group CADS prepares for curtain-up on Cinderella.
This year's pantomime has seen an influx in younger members, with eight boys instead of the usual three.
The regular trio -- Jake Knowles, Richard Fairlie and Oliver Binns -- have been promoted to play cameo roles.
They will respectively be the herald, town cryer and footman in next week's show in Cullingworth Village Hall.
Meanwhile Edwin Sharp, the regular CADS dame, is turning serious to play the wicked stepmother.
Also donning dresses are Paul Hall and Craig Williams, the ugly sisters.
Long-standing members and husband-and-wife team, John and June Robinson, play Baron Hardup and Queen Catherine.
Louisa Mawson plays Prince Charming, after returning to the principal boy role last year on her move back to the village.
Lisa Rendell has also returned to the Society after a number of years, this year playing the Fairy Godmother.
Cinderella will be played by Francesca McArthur and Dandini by Michele Wilson.
Producer Barbara Thomson also promised a great backstage team, good choreography, and top-notch costumes, musical arrangements, lighting and effects.
Cinderella runs from Tuesday to Saturday at 7.15pm. Tickets from the Village Pharmacy.
