Injecting youth and vitality into blues music this month in Keighley will be Dani Wilde.

The 22-year old, who endeavours to take blues to a wider audience, headlines Keighley Blues Club on February 27.

Dani's debut album Heal My Blues, released last February, was voted album of the month by Blues Matters magazine.

"She has the genuine, authentic texture of real blues and soul in her voice," said a club spokesman.

"She soars far above the usual limitations of youth with a conviction and emotion that defies her years."

Dani last year toured extensively as part of Ruf Record's Blues Caravan.

She and brother Will, who performs in her band, supported Jools Holland and played the Royal Albert Hall.

Support comes from Robin Hoare and Danny Fox. Venue is the Hall of Fame at Cougar Park.

Tickets £8 from 01535 600310 or bbj21@btinternet.com.
