Sarah Waters headlines a day of creative writing events organised by women's writing magazine Mslexia.
She will talk about her work from 6pm at the nearby West Lane Baptist Centre.
Sarah was shortlisted for the 2009 Man Booker Prize for her most recent novel The Little Stranger she will focus on during a talk.
She is also known for best-sellers such as Tipping the Velvet, Affinity and Fingersmith which were adapted for TV.
Jenna Holmes, the museum's arts officer, said: “Sarah Waters is an incredibly popular writer and we feel very honoured that she has agreed to come and speak here .
"She has in the past described herself as an admirer of the Brontës, so it will be extra special to hear her talk about her work in such an important, and atmospheric, literary setting."
Tickets for the talk cost £8 by contacting jenna.holmes@bronte.org.uk or 01535 640188
