Mama's back in the kitchen in this second slick sequel -- but this time she's also shopping.

The cooking, mostly carried with the Nintendo DS stylus, is as energetic and irresistible as ever.

There are lots of new recipes, a kitchen full of cooking techniques -- mostly easy but some surprisingly hard -- extras like a diary and outfits for Mama, and new features like a multi-player cooking contest and recipe mash-ups.

The new shopping mode is less successful, a Pacman-style game where Mama has to avoid other shoppers while seeking ingredients.

Collisions lead to some terrific mini-games, but addictiveness soon leads to annoyance as you hit people time and time again.
