Keighley businesses are "flocking" to sponsor a sheep.
They are paying for life-size sheep sculptures to be painted in distinctive styles and showcased around the town.
The scheme is being run by Keighley Arts Factory, the art gallery at the Keighley Campus of Leeds City College.
Worth and Aire Valley Magazine, which distributes free magazines, are sponsoring a sheep painted in the style of David Hockney. Computer firm CloudsfreeIT on South Street are sponsoring a sheep painted in the style of Magritte - "Ceci n’est pa un mouton, c’est un nuage".
The project, entitled Shorn Keighley, has received funding from Keighley Area Coordinators office through the Keighley Future Heritage Initiative.
The 10 fibre glass sheep had nearly been completed and will arrive in Keighley early December. A few still need a home at the end of the project.
Anyone wishing to sponsor a sheep showed project manager Rifat Bashir on 01535 685060 or rifat.bashir@leedscitycollege.ac.uk.
