The Demon Barber Roadshow has been awarded £35,000 to stage a theatre version of its show.
The group, led by Haworth musician Damian Barber, combines folk rock music with exciting English dance.
The song and dance spectacular won the Barbers a BBC Folk Award earlier this year for Best Live Act.
Arts Council England has now commissioned them to produce a theatre show with traditional English dance at its core.
It will be launched next May, combining traditional morris and rapping with modern street and breakdance.
