Over the years, on several games consoles, Princess Zelda's misfortunes have inspired the best role-playing adventures.
This latest quest for young hero Link is one of the best ever, more varied than previous Nintendo DS outing Phantom Hourglass and utterly enthralling.
It's awfully cute and charming, making it ideal for kids, but there's enough depth to draw in older role-playing fans.
The basic gameplay is as polished as usual, with a terrific story and characters, well-designed controls and layout, and top-notch combat and visuals.
But what makes this version so captivating is the chance to drive around Hyrule by steam train -- an absolute blast.
