Black-and-white images by photographer Martin Priestley are on show at Keighley Arts Factory.
The town centre art gallery is displaying the landscape pictures in its new Link Gallery until February.
Martin completed a photography degree course at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2007. As a keen hiker and cyclist he was drawn towards landscape photography, and strives for dramatic images containing strong graphical shapes and elements.
His works have appeared in several publications including The Guardian, Architect’s Journal, Amateur Photographer and Digital Photo magazines. This year (2009) the Churches Conservation Trust, custodian of more than 340 churches nationwide, commissioned Martin to photograph their properties.
The Link Gallery is the corridor linking the Arts Factory with the rest of the Keighley Campus of Leeds City College.
It previously provided additional space for exhibitions in the main gallery, but is now a permanent display space for photographers.
Photographers wishing to exhibit their work should send 10 of their images, their CV and a statement about their style and influences, to jo.whitehead@leedscitycollege.ac.uk.
