Goosebumps Horrorland is the epitome of life - lots of aimless wondering with an occasional spark of entertainment, followed ultimately by disappointment.
On arrival at the Horrorland theme park, your ticket is torn up by some ugly monster and it gradually becomes clear that the only way to escape is to find all the pieces of your ticket which can only be achieved by completing the rides.
Easier said than done - half your time is spent half running all over the place to find a ride which will let you on if you have enough 'frights', tokens which can only be gained by completing other rides.
The controls can be weak too, which means you may struggle to complete rides/games to get the tokens.
The game entertained my 11 year old for a while but he soon became frustrated with the unresponsive controls as well as having to play games over and over again to try to get enough frights to move on.
Summing up? One word says it all - frightful.
