Haworth Band is inviting both inexperienced and experienced musicians to join.
The recruiting drive comes as the brass band forges greater links with Silsden Town Band.
Graham Richardson, the chairman, said new members would be made very welcome.
He said: "We have the resources to teach and develop your skills."
Mr Richardson said musical director Charles Hindmarsh was moving the band forward with his contemporary vision.
Over the past year the band had welcomed back old members as well as newcomers Matthew Pilcher on the euphonium and Dave Root and John Large on cornets.
Mr Richardson added: "I'm particularly enthused by the developing synergy between ourselves and Silsden Town Band. "This is what band fellowship is all about."
Haworth Band rehearses on Mondays from 7.45-9.45pm above the Fleece Inn on Main Street. It urgently needs people can play cornets, euphonium, second trombone or BBb bass.
