HOWARTH Ruth Hildegard Emma Ruth, aged 90, passed away peacefully at Craven Nursing Home on Thursday, December 10 following a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Bill Howarth and dear mother to Edgar, Michael, Irene, Steven and late daughter Anne. Oma to Christopher, Martin, Michael, James, Peter, Lydia, Sophie and eight great-grandchildren. Many thanks to the staff at Craven Nursing Home who have cared for Ruth over the past year. A private family funeral will be held on December 22 at Skipton Crematorium. Any donations in memory of Ruth will be gratefully received for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, these can be given directly via the charity's website or c/o Howcrofts' Funeral Services, Duckett St, Skipton, BD23 2EJ.
