PYE Walter Passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020, aged 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved dad of Stewart and Anne and loving grandad to Matt and Eleanor. Due to current restrictions a private funeral will be held. Donations in memory of Walter would be appreciated to Cancer Research UK c/o Brook Smith & Son, Bunkers Hill, Skipton, BD23 1HU, 01756 792738.

Only just heard of Walter's passing. Ian and I are very sadden by this news. Walter loved to shop on Skipton Market and would buy his fruit and veg there most days. He would spend a good hour or two talking with Ian and myself about his cousin Fred Kenyon. Apparently, Walter also knew my dad, Bill Dawson in his haulage days where they would meet up for a brew and a chat many times. What a small world it is! He also shared his love of walking and caravan trips and would delight us with new places to visit and of his own adventures and good times had. Rest in peace Walter you will be missed so very very much by us and all who knew you. x x
