SMITH Harry MBE Aged 83 of Barnoldswick on 14th October died at Airedale Hospital following a short illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Irene and dear father to Alison and the late Janet. Funeral to be held at Bracewell Church on 31st October at 10.30a.m followed by cremation at Skipton.Tributes

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Harry was my late school friend Janet's father. He was a hard worker as well as being a fireman when we were young. Always busy and active. My condolences to Irene and Alison. He was a true gentleman. RIP. Kathryn Howarth
