PICKERING Richard After many years of overcoming periods of poor health Richard died peacefully after a short illness in hospital at Carcassonne (France) on 9th August 2023 aged 74. A beloved husband to Janice and loving Father/Father-in-Law to James and Stephanie, Victoria and Ben, and Linzi; Granddad to Olivia, Connor, Maddox & Flynn, brother to Mandy. Richard lived in Carleton and Skipton for many years before retiring to the South of France 15 years ago. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who have cared for Richard over the years. A Cremation will be held in Carcassonne on Wednesday 16th August, no flowers please but any donations could be made to the Fédération Française de Cardiologie https://donner.fedecardio.org/don_principale_cardio/~mon-don
