CLARKE Richard Peter Sadly passed away at home following a short illness on 29th September 2023, surrounded by his loving family and his spaniel, Dylan. Much loved husband to Wendy, Dad to Kim and Bobbi and Grandad 'Christmas Lights' to Jasmine. Founder trustee of 'The Spirit of Endeavour', trustee of Eldwick Memorial Hall and NCBA, Chair of SCAD and Field Manager for Eldwick Gala. He will be much missed by his family, colleagues and many friends. A funeral service for Richard will be held at Shay Grange Crematorium at 12:45 on Friday 27th October 2023, followed by refreshments at The Birches, Eldwick, Bingley to which all who knew Richard are very warmly welcomed. At the family's request, attendees are encouraged to wear 'colour' in celebration of Richard's life. Any donations given in memory of Richard will be forwarded to 'The Spirit of Endeavour', the Skipton-based charity that he helped to found.
