SLINGSBY Walter Harvey On 18th October 2023, at the Craven Nursing Home, Walter aged 92 years of Eastby, (formerly Keighley). Beloved husband of Barbara, much loved father of Claire, Roger and Caroline, cherished Gramps of Edward, Charlotte and Harriet. His funeral service will take place at St. Mary`s Church, Embsay on Tuesday 7th November at 12.30pm, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations in Walter`s memory will be divided between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance & the Sheffield Eye Hospital, a plate will be available at the service, or c/o the funeral directors. It would be helpful to the family for planning purposes if you could indicate if you may be attending the funeral. This can be done by calling Howcroft`s funeral services, Skipton 01756 792173. Black tie need not be worn as the service will be a celebration of Walter`s life.
