METCALFE Martha Peacefully on 27th November 2023 after a long illness at The Manor House, Chatburn. Martha aged 96 years, formerly of Bolton-by-Bowland. The dearly loved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother of John and Margaret, loving mother-in-law of Alistair and the late Samantha, dearest granny of Claire, Jennifer, Suzanne and William, and devoted great-granny of Evie, also a loved sister of John and the late Isaac and William. Reposing in 'Peacehaven' Chapel of Rest. Service and interment will take place at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Bolton-by-Bowland on Friday 8th December at 11.30am. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Martha, if desired, are invited for Ribble Valley Dementia Alliance or St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Bolton-by-Bowland and may be left at the Church service or sent c/o Mrs M.
