Health, education and employment were among issues raised by young people at a Question Time event in Keighley.
The gathering at the town hall allowed teenagers to quiz decision-makers, such as politicians, business leaders and educationalists, on topics important to them.
The event, part of the Active Citizens Project, featured an adult panel, including Keighley councillors Jan Smithies and Kaneez Akhtar.
Present were 18 young people aged between 16 and 25 from groups such as Keighley Asian Women and Children’s Centre, Barnardo’s and Small World.
They also raised issues suggested by dozens of other young people through Brad-ford Council’s Youth Service.
Coun Smithies praised the young people for the challenging issues they raised and their passionate debate.
