Keighley-based Keyhouse has received a £5,000 boost from the Yorkshire Bank.
The grant is among 12 handed out nationally as part of the bank’s Spirit of the Community Awards. Keyhouse, which supports homeless people with emergency accommodation and services, said it was “over the moon” to receive the award.
“The funding will kick-start the use of our new kitchen and kitchen garden by providing opportunities for people to access training,” said Keyhouse fundraiser, Gemma Harwood.
David Thorburn, chief executive of Yorkshire Bank, said: “The awards aim to recognise the vital contribution that voluntary and charitable organisations make.”
