Sue Ryder – which runs Manorlands – is inviting supporters to tackle a fundraising ‘trekathon’.
A series of events is on offer as part of challenges promoted by the charity.
Among them is a walk along a 25-mile section of Hadrian’s Wall.
The three-day event starts at Lanercost Priory and includes a camp near Haltwhistle.
Places are available on the trek starting on September 6, and dates are also arranged for next year. Other events include a Ben Nevis weekend trek to the summit of Britain’s highest mountain.
People can book for weekends in June and August next year.
