Keighley’s first-ever Airedale Beer Festival takes place next month.
The three-day event will feature more than 50 traditional locally-sourced beers, lagers, perries and ciders on tap.
It is being held in the grounds of the Airedale Heifer pub in Bradford Road, Sandbeds, from September 6 to 8.
The festival is being spearheaded by Oxenhope’s Bridgehouse Brewery, which later this year will relocate to new purpose-built premises adjoining the Airedale Heifer, which the company already manages on behalf of Punch Taverns.
Marie Townsend, who is co-organising the event with Andrew Clough, said: “Apart from a wealth of cask ales from the region, we will also have live music, food and children’s entertainment.
“Our main aim has been to make Airedale Beer Festival as family-friendly as possible, and its success will ensure it becomes an annual event in the local calendar.”
The festival – whose main sponsors are MPRO, Illingworth McNair Insurance Brokers, the Airedale Heifer and DML Digital Print – will be open from noon each day.
Solo acoustic singer Liam Newton and British Mod & Ska group The Detours will perform on the opening day.
The Saturday will be a family fun day, with face painting, a bouncy castle and children’s disco in the afternoon, followed by evening entertainment from rock and roll cover band Blue Suede Dudes.
And the closing day will see performances from modern and classic covers band The Bernadettes and post-punk/Indie band the Indianics.
