Two teenagers have been charged with offences following alleged break-ins and vandalism at two of the area’s biggest tourist attractions.
The boys, aged 13 and 14 and from the Riddlesden and Keighley areas, will appear in youth court in the near future regarding alleged damage to Haworth and Oxenhope train stations late last month. Both stations lie on the historic Keighley & Worth Valley Railway line, and attract thousands of visitors each year.
The three alleged offences the boys were arrested in connection with are burglary at Oxenhope Station on July 30, criminal damage at Haworth Station the same day and causing damage and committing burglary at Haworth Station on July 26.
Bingley and Worth Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team investigated the incidents.
