People wanting to enjoy the 2014 Tour de France’s progress through Keighley district while enjoying a camping holiday can take advantage of an offer from Keighley Cougars.
The club says it plans to turn its stadium into a camping site for the Grand Depart from July 3 until July 7 next year.
A Cougars spokesman said: “Visitors can be sure of a secure camping spot at the nearest site to the second day’s racing.
“Our stadium entrance will be no more than 100 yards from the route the cyclists will take through Keighley, and it also provides a great hub to set off from for viewing the first day’s race in Yorkshire.
“We have camping available for up to 500 Le Tour enthusiasts in tents, and hard-standing for up to 200 camper vans or caravans.”
The cost will be £15 per person per night, with a 25 per cent deposit payment needed to secure a place.
E-mail info@keighleycougars.com or call the club on (01535) 606044 to book.
