St Andrew’s Church – On Sunday there will be a service of holy Communion at 8.15am and 10am. From 2.30-4.30pm tea and scones will be served in the Parish Rooms and the church will be open for visitors.
The monthly coffee morning held last Saturday at Farnhill Methodist Church raised £88.75 for church funds.
Farnhill/Kildwick Scarecrow Weekend will be staged from Friday to Sunday. Come and see the various scarecrows. Prizes and barbecue will take place at the White Lion Hotel, Kildwick from 4pm on the Sunday.
A Christmas bread-making demonstration by Mike Armstrong, an award-winning Master Baker, will be given at Kildwick & Farnhill Village Institute on Tuesday, October 1 at 7.30 pm.
