Residents are being urged to join the second phase of the Braithwaite Blitz on Wednesday.
They will be handed gloves, tabards and litter pickers so they can take part in a community clean-up.
Joining residents will be police, ward councillors, council officers and staff from social landlord Incommunities. The aim is to clean up public open spaces around the Braithwaite estate.
Ward councillor, Jan Smithies, said an initial clean-up was held before the summer holidays at a site used by children.
She added: “Residents did a great job with Incommunities on one of the big areas off North Dean Road.
“This time we’re doing everything above Braithwaite Avenue. We’ve identified six public areas.”
People are asked to assemble from 9.45am at the older people’s sheltered housing at Foster Gardens in Broster Avenue.
The clean-up will start at 10am, and after a free lunch at noon, the session will continue from 1pm.
