Manorlands will share in the proceeds of a sponsored bike ride.
Inspired by the courage of a 48-year-old mother, three men are to cycle 167 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington.
Among the trio is John Cockcroft, who lost his wife, Alison, the mother of Lauren, 21, after a three-year battle with melanoma.
Joining him are friends Steven Thornton and Andrew Mason.
The trio starts its ride along the Way of the Roses on Tuesday.
Proceeds are being split between Manorlands, Yorkshire Cancer Research and Melanoma Focus. Donations can be sent via the alislegacy@gmail.com e-mail address.
T-shirts are available from MC Sports in Sackville Street, Skipton, at £15, with donations made from each one sold.
