Wilsden Village Hall Committee is looking at applying for funding to build an extension on to the side of the centre and make changes to make it into a community hub. It is important that all current users and potential future users are involved in the planning and consultation and up to two representatives from every group are invited to a planning session at the village hall on Wednesday, October 2, 6-8pm. Comments are invited on needs in terms of space, storage, time and development of new sessions. Please let Julie Petty at Shipley Town Hall Dept for Children’s Services know who will be attending the session on (01274) 431389.
If you would like to know more about what is happening in your village – one of the best ways is to attend one of the monthly meetings held by our hard-working parish/village councils.
