Sunday: Keighley New Church, Braithwaite village: Today’s service, beginning at 10.30am, will be led by the Rev Christine Bank. Tea and coffee will be served after the service in the church hall. Tuesday: An exercise class of gentle exercise to music for the over 60s and/or less mobile in the Village Hall, 1.45-2.45pm at Laycock. For further information, ring Kath on (01535) 959019 or 07950 005080.

Braithwaite Village Crafters: This group meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month in Keighley New Church hall, 10-noon. Bring along your work, or come and learn a new craft. There is a small charge of £2.50 for admission.
Wednesday: On the first Wednesday of every month there is a coffee club at Laycock Village Hall with a book exchange, 10-noon. Also free range eggs for sale. For further information, contact Irene on (01535) 662083.
The August meeting of Laycock WI was the summer walk along the Cullingworth railway trail, when 21 members met for an evening stroll to The George Hotel where they were joined by six other members to enjoy a delicious meal. Members were reminded about the fashion show on Thursday, September 12, at Exley Head Church, cost £2.50. All welcome. The September meeting at Laycock Village Hall will be a Swishing Evening, so any unwanted clothes, or anything made such as jams, baking etc, are to be brought along. Homemade biscuits will be served.
